Antelope Canyon – the beauty of Arizona
DAY 5:
We had saved our last day for some discoveries on our own. After hearing a lot about Hoover Dam in Grand Canyon , how can we avoid this BIG dam ? Packing paranthas ,we set out for this huge dam. Since it is at the border of Arizona and Nevada, you can see the two time clocks over there. Dam tours are available ,if you are interested.
The word “Free” always freaks us , right?? Turning back to Vegas, we went to enjoy one such free ride. The self-driving car ride (recently launched by AAA) near Fremont Street Experience. We got to see “The Praying Mantis” which dazzles with light and fireworks at night at its stop. The 10-minute ride was fun with karaoke singing. We walked out to the Fremont street to experience the Zip-lining ,shows and jugglers there. How can I forget? Before catching our flight , we ate at ” Turmeric – the Flavors of India” (the best Indian restaurant in U.S.) – the lip-smacking food will leave you with lasting memories.
As we sat in the flight, with a bag full of memories, we got the rear-end seats in the plane without any windows ;). It was the most turbulent flight we had ever boarded in a domestic flight or may be (just like in Indian roadways buses, if you prefer more hops and jumps, choose them as an adventure. 😀 )
In the end I would like to conclude : “Travel Often; Getting lost will help you find yourself .”
